Camaro Safety

Hey guys, do you think it would be okay to take my Bumblebee Camaro down to crime rate areas that are a bit higher like Virginia Beach? If so, what precautions would I need to take?
I also have chrome rims and would not want them to be stolen.

My guess is concealed carry? Not sure how that would help unless you plan on being in the car 24/7.

Locking lug nuts, aftermarket alarm, engine immobilizer, hide shit in the car out of site, dash cam on security mode, park directly under street lighting, keep car in view of surveillance cameras, don't blast your stereo before parking, stay out of the ghetto, and don't intentionally park like an asshole....

Or drive a beater car.

I took my Camaro to Virginia beach a few years back without any problem. I didn't realize it was such a high crime area though. I think basic instincts would rule here. If there's a reason to doubt, you might leave the Camaro at home if you're not willing to lose some or all of it.

When I lived there in the late '80s VA Beach was only a high crime area during Greekfest. Not sure what's happened since.
