Update.... What would you do

I ordered a 2014 1LE yellow with NAV - Dual-Mode Performance Exhaust and RECARO® Performance Front Seats total 42999.99

I just found at a local dealer today this one -Destination Charge $995.00

MSRP* $47,955.00 -- The dealer told me i could have it for 43999.00. The problem is it has been on the showroom floor since mid November and has 18 miles on it. I know that everybody and their brother has been climbing in and out of it. Also in mid-November we had snow on the ground that means SALT. I looked it over pretty good and even checked the wheel wells and they look for the most part clean. I may also loose my deposit on the other car. $500.00. What would you do ? ............... I posted this a week ago and confused some people because they saw my other post that i did not order the RECARO® seat. I called the dealer I order the car from and ask them to add them to my order at first they said no, then I talked to the owner and he said yes. Today the owner of the dealership called me and said they could not be added. I asked if i could place another order and he could put the Camaro into stock. He said no. I also received a call from the dealer that had the Camaro on the showroom floor, and he said he would take another 1000.00 off the car NOW they are the same price. I also checked the weather around here in November. We did not get snow until December. So i am going to take the deal even it i don't get my deposit back . I think i am way ahead.

your worried about dirt in the wheelwells? is this going to ever be driven?i wouldnt take it if it had dirt in the wells, nope, thats a deal breaker

my only advice. get exactly what you want, $40k + is a lot to spend on something your settling for.

If you read the whole post i explained what happened . I was told i could add the seats for 42999.99. Then i was told my order was to far along in the build .

it seems silly to worry about dirt and people climbing in and out of a car on the showroom floor. i was laughing so hard. comon, are you for real? i agree with the above, just get what you want and be done with it, but for crying out loud, dont fret over dust on the car since Novemember.

i would think if your order is too far along, you cant add or take away anything, it does'nt take but a few hours to build a car, my dad retired from gm and i went on open house one day. otherwise you would wait a year for special order
