has any one ever seen a groove in a cam sensor after cam install. 6000 miles on new cam its a three bolt gear. light came on and code showed cam sensor. pulled it out and a groove was in the sensor from the cam gear. checked cam plate all is tight. put new sensor with shim cleared code then 2 miles later back on. no one so far has seen this so helpppppppppppppp.

What did Texas Speed say about it? Have they seen that on it before?

I can do it but it's easier to install than making a PBJ sandwich.

It's really simple even if you're not very mechanically enclined. Literally a 5 min job. 4 bolts that mount the tb to intake manifold and then the bolt that loosens the Cai from the tb. Then the electrical connector on the tb. There will be the rubber O-ring gasket betw the tb and intake manifold, which will be reused. Just put the new one on like you took the old one off.
