I would go with a built 4L65 for that application, most likely from RPM, lighter and will handle more than enough power, the 6L80 is a lot of trans for the application, ant the software to get it right will be a PITA...

INTRODUCING RPM Transmissions new level 7 4L65/70E Transmission. This transmission is designed for all out street/strip applications. We have fully tested this new design transmission in house with our shop C6Z06 at full weight with 700 RWHP. It has over 50 9 Second passes with ZERO failures!!! We have also tested this transmission in our other shop C6 twin turbo car with over 830 RWHP, and several other customer cars that have reported similar results including a full weight GTO that runs in the 9’s. We developed this transmission to fill the gap between current 4L65/70E transmissions and the 4L80E.

1.Stall converter with a trans cooler
2. Suspension
3. Brakes
4. Meth
5. Cosmetics

Don't do the 3.55 gears IMO. I'd do a SS LS3 rear swap so you have LSD instead of an open diff that causes only 1 wheel burnouts

I still don't get this. I got LLT with an A6 and i never seen a 1 wheel burnout from it. Its always both just like a LSD. I even seen posts where people said their sticker sheet had LSD listed on their V6-A6. I searched and never found a combination like that from GM. Strange.

Yes the Swap would be better and Stronger. Also more options in gears. But 1 wheel burnouts i don't thing even applies anymore does it?

All my videos show the 1 wheel burnouts. Yes you can get both of the wheels to spin depending how hard you are holding the break or if you use line lock then they with both spin easily.

Just look at my drag race videos on YouTube and you will see how 1 wheel spins while the other doesn't then I let off the brake a little and get both wheels to spin

I personally wouldn't do the stall from rx. I've yet to see the numbers that justify the cost. Definitely don't do the 3.55. Not worth it for the cost. If u want gears, do the 3.91 from the 1LE but its gonna cost you since you have to do the whole rear swap. Also remember that your highway mpg will suffer. I have a full suspension sitting in my house ranging from pfadt trailing arms, tie rods, and pedders z sway bars. I can let u know how those feel. Or if we ever meet up, I'll let you ride in it. You can do brembos if you want the looks of them or if you're gonna auto cross or road course but if you're just drag racing, they aren't worth it in my opinion.

What do you plan to do with the car, that'll help us give u options on what to do
