pulley change...what type of gains can be expected?
I have an SLP jackshaft style supercharger on my car right now. It is an LS3. Currently I am running the stock 3.8 pulley. I picked up the 3.6 pulley. What type of rear wheel horsepower gains can be expected from making a pulley change like that?

20-25hp for every lbs of boost.

if that is the case, I guess my next question would be how many pounds of boost will I pick up going from a 3.8 pulley to a 3.6 pulley? Does anyone know this?

Roughly 2psi and 35ish hp added. Some get more. A few get less. Lots of variables come into play. Can't guarantee the numbers. I can guarantee that you'll like it though

That sounds promising. Here is my dilemma if you want to call it that. I currently have the TSW Nurburgring wheels which are a fairly light weight wheel for their size. I decided yesterday to order some new shoes for my car and it turns out I could be picking up 4 lbs at each corner. Granted they are an inch wider front and rear, but they are also cast instead of forged. Do you guys think doing a pulley change from the 3.8 to the 3.6 will make up for the weight I am adding at all four corners and still give me gains? I am wondering if I should just go to the 3.4 pulley instead. I just don't want looks to totally kill my performance.

I already have the 3.6 and was planning on installing it. I am now considering going with the 3.4 to negate any horsepower loss I may have by going with a heavier wheel. If you read my above post I explained my dilemma.

You won't feel the extra 16 lbs you added. Your imagination is running wild if you think you can feel that little bit of added weight. That's about what 2.5 gallons of gasoline weighs. Can you tell when you have 3/8 of a tank vs 1/2 of a tank of fuel without looking at your fuel gauge?
