SBE L99 Goes 9.46 146 with JRE parts and tuning

I was asked to post this over here as well.

Congrats to 94guy, with his 2010 Camaro L99 known as the Yellow Destroyer.

JRE has been working with 94guy since 2011 providing parts and remote custom tuning to make this all happen

Stock bottom end L99 Whipple supercharger on MS109
JRE Cam package
JRE spec Torque converter
JRE 6l80E trans build
JRE 3.45 Differential package.
JRE custom tuning Via SCT.

J is a hoot to work with and we have become very good friends over the years, this is a guy who goes to the track only 2 or 3 times a year.

We work well as a team, and now just crushed the SBE L99 record to my knowledge.

Weld RTS, we are going to keep that one close to our chest.

Let me just say there is way more to a torque converter than stall speed.

It's a custom (kinda tight) built triple disk from JRE. I cant seem to get the car to hook. I roll into the throttle most of the way in first gear based on my log. I have a 9.51 run from the same day that spun bad. I'm thinking about putting a taller tire (29") or putting the stock 3.27 back in. It has the 3.45 now.
