Using halos as driving lights?

I don't really like the fog lamps as all day driving lights, so I use only the Halo lights during the day (they just look way cooler). Is it bad in any way, and how long do those thing usually last? Thanks.

The halos are lit w/ a single LED each. Typical LED's basically last forever, I'd say your safe to run them all you want (I do the same w/ mine). In fact I'm hoping to convert them to come on w/ the fogs if I can. Haven't had time to look into it much yet.

Yes that would be more convenient if they came on automatically.

I like the looks of the DRL but I'd like to switch them out to Halo's. That would look pretty cool if you ask me. Then you'd have to do the DRL Harness so you could run them with your headlights at night.

I always drive during the day with my halos on cause they just look so damn cool! Definitely getting the DRL harness sometime within the next couple of months to have the fogs and halos for DRLs, just gotta get some P13W fog lights to match the halos!

I replaced my DRL with LED so they match the halo color. Now run them like this (purchased through aacstyle and spliced with side markers so they are both on at the same time).

This may be something I'll be doing. I don't like the DRL's. But on topic I wonder what the real life expectancy is for the HALO's. I'm thinking that by the time they burn out, they probably wont be offered by the dealer and be special order items. Might be a good idea to order up a set now, instead of 10 years from now.
