What exactly do you mean when you say "pass thru?" What is that?

He is talking about the built in crossover capability. That the amp can filter out hi or low.

A pass-through is usually on an amplifier and is an extra set of RCA's that passes the signal from the inputs out so you can drive additional amps.
Basically for a 4ch amp my loc will give me 4chs out, So then i'll need to use all those RCA's on my 4ch amp that I just bought, and if the amp I just bought didn't have pass thru then there'd be no way for me to run my subs on a 2nd amp, basically It gives me an option so I ca run an additional amp! :] |

So I'm using 4rca to run my 4ch amp for the door and rear speakers then a pass thru to run the 2nd amp for my subwoofers! The only thing I really have to do is now run speaker wire to both the door speakers, the rear speakers are right by the amp will be mounted lol. |

Oh, for some reason I thought you had a BA system. I guess there is no need for me to go this route since I have the BA system. Nice to have a plan B though, LOL.

For you it's just as east, you buy the FARK harness from ******** and it allows you to run an additional amp off that harness i'm pretty sure, and if you want a 3rd amp you can always buy an amp with a pass thru :] 1 amp for the speakers 2 amps for the subs! GET IT!!

my biggest issue was finding one that would fit in the stock location since I was wanting to swop out the factory BA one, have a PPI 900.4, fark, door speakers waiting for a spring install whenever the weather straightens out!

I'm mounting both my amps to the sub box. Easy install and I can change features whenever I want. Nice little bit of eye candy too with my multi color lights on it.
