I'd hate to jinx myself. Our DA at best is in the 1500 and up range in the early spring and late fall. The rest of the year it's 2800 to 4000. Everyone thinks I'm shooting for high 9's. I'd hate to piss off the track officials. They don't hassle us running 10's. A 9 would get them worked up. Lol

To answer your question... well you know how I feel about the auto, so we won't get into that. The car stock for me whether it was my manual or my current auto was very fun. Great cars. My manual had the JRE 75rwhp package on it and it was a blast at 586 rwhp/565 rwtq.
Then I stripped that off and put it on my auto with the id850 injectors, new plugs. The new tune made the auto an absolute blast to drive. The shifts were so much crisper and harder but smoother that it feels like a manual without doing the work. When you get on it heavy then brake aggressively the car downshifts amazingly, just like the manual, I love this.
Fast forward to about 2 weeks ago I upgraded to the 125 package, which includes the 10% swap to an 18% , 50mm idler pulley, headers with high flows and a JMS voltage booster. And of course the new tune.
I thought the car was awesome before, now it's just insane, so much fun and sounds freaking amazing with the headers. The power difference is extremely noticeable and drive ability has suffered none, actually I think it may have even gotten better if thats possible.
The only downside is that before upgrading to my 125 package I was getting about 15 mpg regularly with aggressive driving. Now I drive even harder probably cause it's so much fun and sound is great that my mpg is at about 13.3 all the time, Lol..
I obviously could give a shit about fuel economy in this car though, so to answer your question...zero downsides, just pure bliss and smiles every time I drive it. Which is daily, except rain when I can avoid it and the bastard snow when it comes.

I have a lot of fun with the paddle shift auto. You can force 1rst gear and if the computer thinks that you are risking anything by doing so it will up shift automatically. Got to love the new technology.
