Hey, anybody have experience with The Camaro Shop, off Lundys near Main?
They list a decent inventory of cars, but Im wondering how they are to deal with.

I went there summer of 2014 when I was looking for a Camaro. The owner Ray is a nice guy, very knowledgeable and obvious Camaro enthusiast. I had my eyes on a yellow 2011 and Ray let me take it out for a test drive. It was my first time driving a Camaro. He took the time to answer any questions I had and was friendly. Not overbearing like your typical car salesman.

However, Ray doesn't actually deal with any of the financial stuff like the paperwork. He has another dealership handle it. I was pretty surprised by this. Let's just say I was not a fan of the other dealership. I ended up not going through with it. I don't know if this is still the case where another dealership handles the finances.

Worth going out to check out his inventory.

Thats kind of weird maybe he was selling it on consignment or something?

Maybe its because you needed financing?

I have known Ray for years and have bought 3 cars off him including my 2010.

He has always written the bill of sale and I just bring him a check and he has it already to go plated and safetied for me.

I think it was cause of the financing. He said he's not good with numbers and such. Like I said, I had zero problems with Ray, good guy. Wasn't a fan of the guy at the other dealership.

Got backed into in the parking lot. I was in the car, so the guy didn't get away with it. Still really sucks tho.

His excuse was "I couldn't see you."

Not only was I parked, drive a bright yellow car, but I also honked my horn. SMH. It's times like these I wish my car could really "transform".
