Yeah, that is a bit ugly, isn't it? I found the description woefully lacking.

I like it. Cold air kits unless they are chrome look plain yes but the advantage to this is it can be painted and if it is from Hennessey, you know it will perform. I say it will be worth it.

They will pretty much build you anything/any color you ask for... No need to go to e-bay since they are here in the Forums anyway.

it just looks weak, i mean look at the v8 intake its massive ,and chrome, and looks like muscle .this looks like a honda intake.i guess looks dont speak for numbers, so i hope the numbers are better looking and stronger then the piece looks.

We are finalizing all the test results from the R&D dept at this time. While the intake doesnt appear massive when you compare it side by side with our v8 intake system, it doesnt need to be. The purpose of a good intake is to get as much cool air as possible past the throttle body while the blade is open (Air Speed). We have achieved that with this intake! We had the test car here for over a week and tried various setups. This is the final prodcution piece that is also available for purchase at this time.

Speak to you soon.

Well I went out on a limb and purchased this intake, I didn't want another massive piece of plastic in the compartment like the airraid and most likely the K&N. Plus I plan on getting it painted to match everything else I am doing in the engine compartment.

The fun part is seeing when they are going to ship it out. I had 6 emails and a couple phone calls between James and Dave. James is the Sales Manager and Dave is the General Manager. James said it would take 2-3 weeks to ship, Dave said it will ship in 48 hours.

So we will see on how everything turns out.

At this time, we are able to take pre-orders via phone. Give myself (James or Tyler) a call and we will input your order for the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro V6 Induction System. The Pre-order will get you on the order list for the intakes which are slated to begin shipping around August 5th. Why the time frame? We are ramping up the production and getting all the supplies instock to build these items as all of the Air Inductions including v8 are produced here at our location in TX.

Look forward to speaking to you soon,
James

The V8 and the V6 with the heatshield are $495. Same Price. The V8 is offered without the heatshield which is not a viable option for the V6.
