I use the cheapy $30 Ebay ones. The black paints chips off very easily so I don't use air tools on them.

Nice floor. LOL
What part number are the locks? The ones I had didn't fit my 18" Forgestar F14s.

Thanks, it's imported from Italy. Don't have the part # On my 18 inch powdercoated f14's I had to mill a couple thousandths off the key. The lugs fit just fine...the thickness of the key is the potential issue. There is a difference between powdercoated wheel lug holes and painted ones. They also vary through size. I have 20 in and 18 inch f14's.

Gorilla locks fits Forgestar rims. I have the 22" F14's and I had to use the Gorilla lock Tuner Lug nuts 1.4mm x 1.50 for the front rims cause the lug nuts the vender gave me only worked on my rear rims.

"milling the key" is not really a solution I could offer customers, haha.
Most lugs fit in the Forgestar holes, it is always the key or socket that cause the fitment issue. I recommend splined "tuner style" lug nuts. Very small diameter key, and no hassles.

Sometimes Vendors leave you high and dry which sometimes breeds innovation...yes that was a shot. Good day to you...

I don't have a part number cause I went to a local wheel shop and asked them and he went to the back and got 10 of them for me. It's the Gorilla Tuner Spline lug nuts. It's 14mm x 1.50. This will only work on my front rims. The rear ones I just used the one they gave me which are the regular acorn Lug nuts. You wouldn't want to use the Gorilla Tuner Spline lug nuts on the rears because they would stick out to much.
Here's what the Gorilla Tuner Spline lug nuts I got looks like. http://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-26145B.../dp/B004U3TEF0 ****Again it looks just like the one in the link but I'm not sure if those are the ones**** |
