bolt on ss vs turbo genesis coupe 3.8

2011 camaro ss full bolt ons (mods in sig.)
vs
2010 genesis coupe 3.8 turbo 390rwhp 378rwtq
both will be using dr's and will be done on 1/4 mile

I feel confident and he is only 150 lbs lighter

I just got rid of a Gen Coupe......and they about 3300-3400 lbs. And by comparing horsepower and weight from both cars, the Gen COULD if not hang with you.....but also could take you out. He has you on weight by about 400lbs. Bring your A game with you

I thought they were a lot lighter than that too. With your mods though, you should walk him. Drivers race really.

I hate genesis coupes so i hope you put the spank on him, but per wikipedia

Genesis:
"The curb weight of the coupe is 3,389 lb (1,537 kg) for the V6 and 3,294 lb (1,494 kg) for the 4-cylinder."

Camaro: (from camaro5)

3913 lbs - SS automatic
3860 lbs - SS manual

This is all per quick research, but

3,389 + 150 = 3,539 ... he must be a little lighter than just 150. No telling though.

Good luck

Its a smaller car than the camaro.....its just like comparing a 350Z to the Camaro...they are lighter cars. This Gen Coupe your're talking about have a custom turbo kit because they don't come standard on the 3.8 models, so we don't know the weight of his turbo system. But your horsepower and torque should be able to overcome him with no problem. And as others stated, it all boils down to the driver.
