SS Brake Rebuild Kits
Hey Guys, I bought a complete set of Brembos off an SS and before I put them on my car, I want everything to be like new and replace the rubber bits. Where are guys getting rebuild kits for our Brembo Calipers. I would want to do both the front and rear.
Thanks

Found rear caliper kits on Amazon-
http://www.amazon.com/gp/part-finder...sNode=46208011 Be sure to confirm what you buy will fit. Also, depending on the condition of your Brembo's, this is one of those jobs I'd put on the "if it ain't broke- don't fix it" list. You can always easily remove a caliper later if a problem occurs and it's not like these brakes are terribly old. Just my 2 cents. Make'em look pretty and keep fresh DOT4 in the lines, and they should last a good while. |

I already have the stainless lines ready to go, as well as new pads and freshly turned rotors. Last part of the equation are these seals and some eibach spacers for the wheels.

Exactly. That's too much for the everyday owner.

lighter weight and durability at high heat.
The OEM stuff is fine for a daily driver. Do be aware new calipers with new all new parts are available on Amazon for way less than the dealer. If I had it to do over again, I'd go that route. Why rebuild when you can buy new?

I don't think you buy Brembo calipers that cheaply. I am not rebuilding my v6 brakes. I am installing the 4 piston and 2 piston brembo calipers.

You can get the same rubber seals for the pistons that Amazon sells at your local Advanced Auto. Same'ish price and local.

Part numbers would be beneficial.

O'Reilly should be able to look up the parts numbers right? Like they do with oil filters
