V6 oil pressure

I have the V6 engine in my Camaro. I would like to know what should be the low reading. When I had the Gm gauges it was around 30 lbs at idle. So far I have tried 3 oil gauges and all read about 20 lbs. Is this a normal reading?

What RPM are you getting 20psi? General rule is 10psi per thousand RPM. If in doubt hook up a mechanical oil pressure gauge and see what your PSI is.

20psi at idle is plenty of pressure.
