toe links

Looking to buy a set of the ZL1 toe links but all of the gm parts websites don't have an option to buy next to the links.... what gives?

Just call your local dealer and tell the parts dept. you're a regular customer and want the "jobber" (wholesale) price.

They're always negotiable and you might be surprised how reasonable they can be!

I'm looking to upgrade my toe links also. How do the ZL1 links compare to Pfadt or BMR links? Do they have better bushings than stock SS links?

Exactly- Pedders doesn't make one. Justice Pete says GM Zl1 link is the way to go- nuff said.

We still need to get them loaded on our website, but we do have a set in stock. They are identical to the stock toe rods, however they come with spherical bushings. They are a good option, but the arm itself is still prone to deflection in high HP applications.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

ZL1 works great...Pfadt works better. Just my opinion of course.

Is there any advantage to the spherical over the poly bushings? I'm only going to be at about 475 RWHP some day with a cam so I'm not worried about too much power deflecting the stock arms. I've also been told that the stock toe links act as a "fuse" and will bend if in an accident or you curb it going too fast. It will protect the subframe from damage. The real issue with the OE links are the rubber bushings.

I could tell you how the Pfadt toe links & trailing arms compare to the stock SS ones if they ever get shipped...

Yes spherical bushings are better than a poly bushing, as polyurethane will still have some deflection. However the arm itself can deflect, so their are pros and cons to each.

We use the Spohn toe links w/Del-Sphere pivot joints on our JDP Camaro. The benefit of this option is you get the strength of an aftermarket arm along with the rigidity and free movement of the spherical joint.

Tyler
