Changed trans fluid in the SS Auto with flush

So what I did that I haven't seen on here was to take off one of the cooling lines on the passenger side and put a hose into a gallon jug. I started it until about full and shut it down. I did this again only to get about another quart. Dropped the pan, changed the filter, then refilled it with the amount I took out. I then started it up and took another gallon out. It was just starting to look pink when I shut it back down. Filled it back up and was good. I didn't take the "fill level" bolt out to see if it was at the full mark though. I figured since I measured everything, I was good. Here's a picture with the hose and jug

Just because you put in the same amount that you took out doesn't mean it's full. For the sake of your transmission and wallet, check your fluid level.
