Very nice pics! I enjoy seeing all the different ideas for this car! The side panels in ABM are just friggin bad a** looking! My new steering wheel is waiting for me. Installing it at the fest in 2 weeks.....

Took my car out for it's first wash of the season. Took a few pix and figured I would share.

In this background you can see the start of my "Drag strip".

Kinda cool how I caught one of only two trees on the whole dang block in the side of the car. Did not notice it till I downloaded it.

I thought this was kinda cool. So clean you could see the house in the reflection. In a dark car sure but ours, not usually.

In a couple of weeks it will be rockin' chrome Torque Thrust M's.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

sorry bout your car. I'm glad it wasn't any worse.
Kelly, the photos look great. I was hoping mine would be ready for Cars & Coffee Dallas tomorrow, but looks like Monday instead. I told my contact at Huffines that I was in no rush, have them get it right. If the paint matching is not perfect, I'm sending it back in. Those mirrors stripes you added are a very nice touch.

www.drclassic.com. They are local to me so I was able to go in and pick out the ones I wanted. The ones I have are the ones off of a true '69 so I had to grind the nubs off where they bolt through the fender. I do know of a guy who actually drilled the holes and bolted his on though but mine are 3m double sided taped on.

Question

I would love to own a 5th gen someday.
While I may only be dreaming of course, since ABM is the only color I like out of all the colors, and since it is now discontinued, would I be hated if I bought say like a white a 2011 2SS like the way I wanted with all my options and then have the car professionally painted ABM, would I still be allowed to post in the ABM forum as I am so welcome to now?

Yeah I noticed that, I had always just thought he had the rs package before. Didn't look that closely. I think those are the rims I want. I don't like chrome and I'm not a huge fan of the midnight silver either.

Yes, they are painted aluminum.

Not quite sure yet. I am considering throwing some drag radials on the backs for track days but, again, not sure.

While I have your attention, and Venom, do you both think the Chrome or Anthracite TTM's would look better on mine?

I have seen a pic of an ABM with the Chrome TTM's but not the Anthracite so I don't know how those would look.
