Well the flush lasted about 1000 miles, the shudder has returned, I've got an appointment next Thursday right when the service department opens. They're pretty certain they can have it back to me same day, I'm not so sure but we'll see. If I had a garage I'd pull the TCM, get it unlocked and tuned but I guess I'm playing the warranty game until then.

I have been driving mine in Sport mode and I don't even notice it doing it in Sport, it did it horribly in Touring.

Does anyone know where the TCM is located? I am thinking of pulling mine and sending it off to be tuned.

I'd say it is more of a feel than a sound. Imagine driving down the highway late at night and you are tired and you kind of doze off and cross the line to the right and hit those groves in the pavement and the whole car kind of shakes until you move back over. That is what it does for a few seconds when it happens.

Does any of the highways in your area have a rumble strip in the median or shoulder of the road? If so, drive over it and that is what converter shudder feels like.

Yes, I have seen and felt driving over those. So I would definitely know if I have it or not.

Even then, driving over ‘rumble strips’ you have sound and feel. The shudder is silent, it’s all feel.

I experienced this last week for the first time. It was super annoying. I brought my car in to the dealership and they did the triple flush and used the updated fluid. I haven't driven my car enough yet, but time will tell if this fixes the issue for me.

I had about 20,500 miles on my car when this happened.

The rumble strip feeling is exactly what it feels like. It was very noticeable on recently asphalted parts of the highway.

I’m in Los Angeles now but called my dealership in Noblesville, IN since reading post this am and I’m scheduled to bring mine in on Monday. Hope Sunday’s flight doesn’t jet lag me.

Took my whip in on Monday and got it back on today, Wednesday. They flushed the transmission and lines, cleaned the magnets and ran diagnostics on the TQ and they say everything is looking and working fine. They also said they've had about 4 cars come in with the same issue but have yet to replace the converter. They said I may have some hard shifts the first 500 miles as it's relearning the values but everything will be okay. I drove it home, took it easy for about the first 7 miles or so but then, then I got on it and varied my driving and it shifted like butter. Nice a smooth and the car felt good and strong! We'll see how long this will last and what's next if anything. Gonna try to really drive it a lot before I put it away for the winter.

Does anyone know what this "special fluid" is that they are using to flush the transmission? Would like to do this myself, if possible.

This is the new updated fluid they're using: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/m...SABEgLWlfD_BwE

I don’t know what it is they’re using but my Svc Advisor said they flush it and the lines and fill it back up and put in a special additive. He said he was familiar with the Service Bulletin.
