pick your battles wisely young skywalker. I raced a 911 turbo today and barly lost, to bad he paid $130,000 for his car not to mension any mods he added he must be kicking himself for wasting all that money when he could have spent only $36,000 and got almost the same result

On the Auto Bahn if you are in the left lane and you see some headlights flash in your mirror you best be getting in the right lane as soon as possible cause the car behind you is coming on really fast and he would like for you to be out the way. I have seen them pass me like i was not moving at all. Before you pass anybody on the Auto Bahn you need to look to make sure no one is speeding up behind you. This is one of there laws. As for Drivers wanting to run i just look at them and laugh and wave them on.

2 minutes after I pull out of the Dealer, low and behold I'm right next to a Dodge Challenger at the stop light. The guy looks over at me with O.O eyes and starts revving...I shook my head and gave him a "good for you" thumbs up and watched him peel out like an idiot. There was a cop in the next side street which pulled him over and I laughed as I drove by.

Same here. I'm sure it will though. I didn't buy this car to race it on the street.

I don't drive like a retard though, I cruise around. They way I drive prob screams "old guy" or something.

Is it against the law to accelerate quickly to the speed limit? Some of the stories here (about cops pulling over people) seem to imply that it is against the law. What exactly does "racing" mean? If I am next to someone at the red light, is it wrong to accelerate quickly to the speed limit of the street and then maintain that speed?

Well in my case Sen10l, Our speed limits in Chicago burbs area is 35mph...you can imagine "flooring" it like a moron that speed limit is easily passed. The challenger was most likely in the 60's range when he was pulled over.

P.S. Yeah, it's considered "aggresive driving" and launching with tire chirp usually is frowned upon.

I don't know what it is where you are but down here in Florida they call it an acceleration contest and a burnout or chirping the tires is improper start from a stopped position.

Hide the stripes. I'm told that the white rally stripes on my abm are really noticable from a distance.

Some dude in a dodge pickup with a uhaul trailer asked if i wanted to race, I was like 'No dude'. Other than that I don't really see much other than the odd ricer flyby and the bmw who hangs around gawking for a bit.

Oh there was this one volvo who said he had nos and wanted to race, we all laughed, even the other guys.

Certain people I just don't get. I had a riced out integra so close to my back bumper I couldn't see his headlights, swerving side to side. I was doing 10 over the speed limit, 45 zone. I coast down to 30 mph and he's still there. I gave him the finger and he dropped back.
