anybody have any dyno numbers for vortech supercharged ss m6
hey,
I hope there is not another thread like this but im just curious does anyone have any dyno numbers for the v3 vortech supercharger system on bone stock ss ls3 motor and then after they put headers on and then maybe changed pulleys and i was also wondering if anyone has run the sct reflash computer and then had a custom tune with somthing like a h/p tuner and how much extra a custom tune gives you than the reflash computer that comes with the kit thanks for any info!! and one more thing the 2010 ss has just a little less hp than 2011 according to gm is that just in the computer tuning or did they do somthing a little different to the engine? thanks again!! |

I know one that has full bolt ons, cam, and the blower that makes 638rwhp on about 10lbs

will these motors hold that kind of boost stock? 3.33 pulley is about three to four sizes smaller when i ordered my pulley vortech told me one size smaller is 1 to 2psi more boost so i just went with one size smaller for now. but them are some big numbers ill be satifided with 520 to 550 rwhp if i can get it. im figureing im right at 500rwhp now with my hp tune but i dont have headers yet or my other pulley on so hopefully with that ill be where i want to be. think them are resonable numbers? thanks

Had a 100% stock LS3 with the Vortech V3 and canned tune it put down 510 rwhp....went to a shop...they added a BAP and dyno tuned and it put out 565 rwhp

BAP is a Boost a Pump. It increases the voltage to the fuel pump under boost.

Help to make sure you have fuel pressure so you don't blow your engine... Id say over 500 whp it's safe to have one.... An no headers on my build

GET A BAP. No question about it. U do not want to run lean due to lack of fuel.
