I have a SS with cam intake header exhaust tune nitto nt05s it's putting out 458 to the wheels I ran the car a year ago in florida to palm beach international raceway some of you might know it as moroso and ran a 12.4 with a 2.2 60ft at 118 felt great for such a bad 60ft until the 3rd run i snapped a joint on a axle but now a year later and some 1000hp axles i ran it in Michigan to Milan dragway got a 2.08 60ft ran 12.5 at 112 the car trapped 110 111 stock I'm not sure what the problem is other then maybe the cars been sitting too much I only get to drive it once a week if I lucky some times it goes 2 weeks but had a 35 mile drive to get to the strip and got on it a few times to clear it out somewhat and I can't say it was the weather because in Florida it was 80 degrees and here in Michigan it was 65

Its hard to compare ET and trap speed from 2 different tracks in 2 different locations.

First of all, cars in Florida usually are "faster" then most other places because they are AT or even UNDER sea level whereas most other tracks are hundreds to thousands of miles above sea level.

Cars slow down the thinner the air gets.

most likely the elevation. Compare your 60ft to your 1/8 and 1/4 mile times. Does your car seem to be falling off at higher RPMs? if so your tune is off. Had an old AWD Subaru SVX that I put a supercharger on. I had issues with higher RPMs. I beat a 12 second Turbo'd 240SX to the 1/8 by a car length, but lost at the 1/4 by 0.75 seconds because the engine would fall on it's face at high RPMs. The car was tuned origianally in Florida and I was racing in Delaware. The elevation difference between the 2 location was about 500 to 800 feet.

It's the elevation and climate change. The differing elevation would be the biggest factor, like was stated above.

the quicker your 60' time is the slower you will go through the traps. if u have a slow 60' its because you were spinning and building speed.
