ZL1 with salvage title for $34,9...
I believe this one belonged to a forum member when it was new. I seem to recall it was in a rollover crash with the owner walking away okay.

Not a bad deal if it was all fixed correctly, also my favorite color! I'd pick it up after deployment if it's still around

The eBay seller's description of what happened to 1274 is not consistent with what was depicted in the thread above, when it happened. Same VIN.

I'm interested in knowing how an accident is 'minor' and the car has a 'salvage title'. Those two don't go together. |

I remember this one because it is 1274 and mine is 1252, and we were both in the DC area, and both orange.

For the right price, I'd be greedy and own 2 2012 ZLs. I asked the seller the following questions.
Do you have pictures of the vehicle before the repair and did the airbags deploy? Which body shop did the repair? Is a copy of the body shop repair invoice available to review? Thank you for your time. Look forward to your response before I place bid on your car. His response to the questions are as follows: No I do not have pictures of the vehicle before repair. Steering airbag, Dash airbag and curtain airbags were deployed, all airbags and srs modules were replaced. The entire srs system has been tested and it is in working order. A local reputable bodyshop did the work, invoices and receipts will be available to the buyer. I'm passing on it just keeping any potential buyer in the loop. Buyer beware.

I would touch this car if all I wanted to do was track it, I wouldn't drive it on the street though. If you think about it, a crate LSA engine is apprx 22K plus body is apprx 9,500. Then you still have to add front/rear bumpers, lights, suspension, wheels, tires, seats, etc,. which puts it over that price. If I could afford it i'd buy it, gut it, roll cage it and track the hell out of it. After of course checking for any other missed damages.

If I had to guess, (strictly guessing) he got the car for around 20k, prob spent another 10K or so fixing it most likely with used or aftermarket parts to keep the repair cost down, had a buddy paint it and wha'la it's on EBay. One thing I did notice on this car it's not loaded into the ZL registry. Maybe the PO needs contact the registry and have the picture uploaded for his VIN. The registry is the first place I went to before I purchased mine.
