Pomona this year will be, a, different as Byrds arent doing the auto x.

registered for the Pomona one in March, later that day i found out The Byrds are not running the event. I'm still going, since i already paid.

It's gonna be more of a hang out event, i imagine. The Byrds are not running it so a new group will now have to learn to deal with the way that event is run. We were limited on runs before due to no preregistration for autocross and having to do sign ups before the event started, while at the event, as well as an unknown number of entrants since a car show ticket also equals an autocross ticket. Byrds ran it incredibly well but this year i have a feeling it's going to be poop without the Byrds experience. Lunchtime there is a burnout competition and new for this year is now a seperate competition including Dyno, speed stop and autocross which we don't know how it will affect the guys/gals running just autocross. JUST MY OPINION - if you are running just autocross, i'd bet on super limited runs and expect to be second to the other event participants.

Stache - I'd recommend you take a close look at all of this and maybe make some changes to be at the NMCA event on April 2 instead.

Got it! I need the weekend off, and any runs at this point is better than none (been out since June last year, darn broken back!). sides I don't mind hanging with everyone and seeing cars.

Oh and I will be back for the April 2 NMCA~ just waiting on the registration for that one at this point.
