These are "event code" numbers. Most of us won't move past 1100 or 1280(? code for online change) until next week when production starts.

I would wait for the Camaro. If I got anything else, I would feel a little sad every time I saw a Camaro drive by.

So, how do I ask the dealer. (Maybe train the dealer how to look it up).?

Can anyone explain to me how to help the dealer understand how to look this information up?

Tell him to print out your Workbench Order forms. It's right on the front page.

It was too late for me when Scotty mentioned Classic in Dallas. My dealer here in Humble really knew what was going on and he was current at the time. He was easy to work with and a fan of the car. So far he's not idiot material. I am just not ready for the looooonnng drive to Dallas. I found out that I am #8 in line. Not sure where that puts me for delivery. I am thinking June?

It depends on what you ordered and how big that dealers total allocation was. If he only got 8 total, then they will probably only get 1 car per month, if none of them have constraints. However, if they got more than 8, but most of the ones in front of you are V6s or were ordered with a Hurst shifter, that would bump you up ahead of them. On the other hand, if they only got 4 then I wouldn't expect a car until after Oct. unless the other cars have constraints.

If you are referrring to Classic in Grapevine, no...not allocation in the 80s...but they do have nearly 100 sold orders taken. Thier allocation was 67. I posted an article about this dealership in the general forum. They sold the most cars of any other Chevy dealership in the US for the third year in a row. This is Texas man......everything is bigger.
