Watched your dyno video, Taylortoons, and said, Hmm that dyno and shop looks awfully familiar. Rhino FTW

In a way the 26" diameter tires is a poor man's gear modification so you're technically right since it yielded an effective 3.81 final rear gear ratio with the smaller tire diameter

Of everyone that has responded to this thread, you make them most sense by my way of thinking. I appreciate you chiming in on this subject. I've done the basic bolt ons and was planning to put a cam in my car next because "engine work" & "racecar", and because I can do it all that stuff myself.

After reading your post, I'm more inclined to do 3.91s, but I'll have to pay someone to set them up. I'll R&R the diff and take it to them.

If I order parts and do my scheduling right, I could install the cam while the gears are being installed. Hmmmmm...

What is the "avg/normal" cost of having a reputable performance shop install 3.91 gears on a 2010 SS A6???

Tanks

Did that include the tune for the speed-o-odo?
I read the tune was included for a manual, but not an auto.
