nGauge
Moved the nGague around to give me more 'windshield' area:
Wife did the best she could (it is a race car suspension ya know ;o): Also ordered a Raptor Shift light from PhaseTek: https://www.phastekperformance.com/C...pslrblk000.htm https://www.raptorperformance.com/ https://www.raptorperformance.com/pa...install-camaro https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/02...98865143073782 This will be in a great location and I'll be able to see it for sure! -Don

Just chatted with Rodney @ ProMeth -- we were discussing the AEM flow gauge.
I found the gauge is not 'high' enough for the pressure of the ProMeth system -- It shows > 1000 cc/min and will do this if:
In this case, too much pressure but, with the gauge I KNOW its flowing (the AEM Progressive Controller LED is flaky and goes off/on too much). Due to the pressure created by the system, Rodney does NOT include a flow meter -- many can't keep up with the pressure generated. He supplies the liquid filled gauges -- which I ordered a second one from him. I also asked Rodney about the pump -- he suggests replacing every 4 years of use -- not to rebuild. Great support from him! -Don

Shift light came in, created a coil harness extension so I can use it for the shift light signal:
I'll route the light and wire tomorrow and hook it up -- I'll set the light RPM low so I can test... -Don

Raptor Shift Light
Got it installed, validated wiring, and now looks like the shift light has an issue:
I'll give Phastek a call and see what they think... Edit: Called Raptor and sent them an email. Left info for Phastek. From what I can see, its hooked up and wired correctly... -Don

So I routed the wire harness and plugged into the coil, that worked perfectly -- this is stealth:
While I was in there, added a 'meth rail' pressure gauge: I must say, Phastek and Raptor's customer service is outstanding! Both were quick to get back and Raptor is working with me -- they've never seen this issue before and, as usual, I'm the first ;o) -Don

So, Rick at Raptor sent out another light. I installed that one and it’s still doing the flashing. Support has been outstanding. Rick gave me another suggestion and I’ll try that next...
Car is fun to drive! Not much else to do but maybe take it to GPI for a ck out (been a year) and do a dyno with the current setup... -Don

Just booked for CamaroFest BG! Holiday Inn had the code so I wasted no time booking...
I’ve been out do to a hospital say — it was not fun. Still recovering - no racing for at least 3 months... glad it’s winter... Have a congenital heart defect, born with it and didn’t know it... But, no blockages or other issues... Fixed the shift light by adding a 1k resistor... -Don

Yea, it sucks, came as a total shock but, must have been getting worse over the last year — just assumed it was dehydration, old age, etc. — way off on my part...
Working to strengthen the heart muscle — it’s very weak — even though I walk 2 to 5 miles a day usually... Thanks! -Don

Put a deposit on a CF ZL1-1LE wing from C7 Carbon:
Once I know it will be made, I’ll get a second trunk lid and put it on that... Should make for an interesting comparison! Drove her tonight, running fantastic... On another note: Met with the cardiac team yesterday and reviewed my stay in the hospital - officially called a heart attack due to weak heart muscle. No blockages, clear arteries, pressure was great and still is — just one of those things. I have a lot of therapy ahead it seems. Still looks like I should be able to race again if therapy goes as planned... -Don
