New Chevelle?
Hopefully not a repost! OK, this isn't as stunning as the Camaro, but it's damned good looking. I can't see room for two Chevy coupes, but make this a 4 door Impala and base it on the Pontiac G8/Zeta platform.

I like it....as a concept....okay, as a photoshop, but it looks okay...I'd have to see more of it, different angles and everything....
Here's the article that also has the "dream lineups" for Chevy, Buick, Saturn, Saab, and Pontiac. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/03/r...-chevy-lineup/ |

This is purely a photoshop(albeit a good one) of a Chevelle coming from some guy who, IMO, doesn't have much originality at all. If you trace back to the originating site (GMinsidenews)...He has, like, 7 other "dream vehicles"...that are all pretty much ugly twins of this one. He took a Camaro, and injected some Volt into it... I like it - but not more than the Camaro. And I'm really doubtful anything like that will be seen at NAIAS... |

Not bad, but IMO, the Camaro styling is much nicer.

and regarding Chevelle, I also remember a little something something about a particular car being released. Don't know what it's going to be...since it's a suprise. But, the Chevelle nameplate was renewed. Now why would GM be doing something like that?? |

It's very similar to a rendering I found on the 'net a few months back....and this shows the rear too.
Is there room for two RWD coupes in GM's lineup? Probably not, but it'd be cool. I maintain this'd look cool as a low slung 4 door to differentiate it from the Camaro. Guess that'd make it an Impala? |
