KEEP IT!!! Put a cover over it and in April open the garage and see her all brand new to you again
I remember when you first got the car Dan and the nice touches you added. Keep the car buddy. Captree will miss you if you don't!!! You won't get anywhere near what it's worth and believe me you will regret every day after its gone. I sold mine last March for a second house deal that ended up never coming to fruition. I missed that car every time I opened the garage it took 7 months to buy another one. This one I'll never let go. Keep your car if you don't have to sell it. Trust me on this lol.

I agree as well. "I'm just to busy..." ? What additional time does the car require? Perhaps drive it to and fro work? Of do the boys come along?

The biggest thing that pissed me off when I bought my Zl1 was when the dealer told me, "This is one can that will hold its value". what a load of crap. Every car depreciates, but this car didn't depreciate, it plummeted. There is a big difference. I hope you understand and see what I am saying.

ALL cars depreciate except a select few. as soon as GM did the 20% off last December that was the writing on the wall for where these cars value end up. My car was 62k msrp I paid 44,200. If I go to sell it next year after the new ones are out guess what's going to happen...??? I'll LOOSE money. There's almost 5 grand in tax because my state taxes rebate money as well so I'm at almost 50k out the door. Next year it will be worth 40k realistically. And if I modify it?? The mods are worth NOTHING and times even take value away. This is the reality. That's why I say enjoy your car. It's NOT an investment.

Enjoy your car, it is not an investment... HOWEVER, if you don't abuse it you can keep it for a very long time. Drive it right, keep oils and other fluids changed, wash and wax it regularly, be cautious of how and where you park it, etc. In many ways, if you take good care of it, and you keep it many years, it is a sort of an investment because it keeps you from having to spend again on something new all the time. It's amazing how many people go through cars within a few years and are on to the next. That said, there are cars that are investments - but again, same applies: only going to hold value if taken care of. Whether your buy for cash, your you finance and make payments, once it's paid off it is sort of like money in a bank as long as you keep it in good condition and drive it NOT like you stole it.
