I can throw the stock chrome wheels back on it though, the spokes look thinner.

The wheels are the last thing we will worry about, I am looking for SSX wheels that will fit. The original concept had side exhaust but I removed it, anyone that has seen how side exhaust is set up never wants it.

This is where I'm gonna leave off for tonight, maybe try to work in the Jay Leno heat extractor hood a little later. I am really happy with the product so far, did some minor touch ups and replaced the concept side mirror with the stock one. I also repositioned the Z28 badge in the grille after the bowtie delete and re-sized it.
I will fool around with it tomorrow... I would love to hear what Number 3 thinks... Edit: Current car attached for comparison. Last edited by thePill; 05-18-2011 at 04:26 PM. |

It's really aggressive and looks very athletic, kind of like a 5th Gen went to the gym for cardio. This build has to be part of a refresh though, the entire car is smaller starting at the front fascia. The front fenders are not as tall as the current car, the rear end is about 3-4 inches shorter... I am going to see if I can get it a little more lean... Look at the front fender height compared to the current car, the fenders are about 2-3 inches (maybe more) shorter. This actually lowers the hood and makes outward windshield visibility better..

I think long ago it was stated that it would not work for a factory car along with a functional mail slot.

The one piece bumper cover/splitter fascia is intended to eliminate air from going under the car and dispense airflow to the sides or into the radiator. I would also like to see the Z28 GS.R come with an adjustable splitter that bolts on to the factory splitter (the Intimidator Camaro's splitter). The adjustable splitter does not come attached to the Z28, it is for off road use only and is to be mounted before competition (same with the rear adjustable spoiler). Race speeds for this car should be between 70 and 130mph as many other cars in its class speeds are.
Z28 GS.R additional factory race equipment (Adjustable front splitter & Adjustable rear spoiler). Race equipment can be used as replacements for the OEM splitter (if the splitter is not one piece with the fascia) and spoiler, Race equipment is for off road use ONLY: |
