I’m a little surprised nobody said the Bible yet. It has made a huge impact in my life from daily moral values to advice on marriage, money, and how I try to live my life. Not to go all religious on anyone, but it’s a good read. Boring at times, but you get past all of the whoever was born to whom ever it has some good info.

It’s pretty much self explanatory. Learning to read pretty much changed my life. I swear it’s like herding cats sometimes.

Ok, so for How to Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie:

As I got into my 30’s and the responsibilities of life grew quickly, my laid back, nothing bothers me personality started to break down. My father in law gave me this book and said read this, it really helped put things in perspective. It is full of sayings and quotes - here’s a summary as well as a few of my favorites:

https://westegg.com/unmaintained/car...top-worry.html

If you want to avoid worry, do what Sir William Osler did: Live in "day-tight compartments." Don't stew about the futures. Just live each day until bedtime.

Half the worry in the world is caused by people trying to make decisions before they have sufficient knowledge on which to base a decision.

Let the past bury its dead. Don't saw sawdust.

Let's never waste a minute thinking about people we don't like.

Do the very best you can; and then put up your old umbrella and keep the rain of criticism from running down the back of your neck.

My life has radically changed because of God's truth in the Bible. I am not the same person.
