Most manufacturers offer a 1 7/8 headers so they are easier to get.
The biggest gains from headers are in the middle of the curve where you drive most and you can't tell the difference between 1 7/8 and 2 inch, on the dyno graph or in the car.

Unless your Racing you won't miss the 5 HP at 6300 RPM, your not there enough to use it on the street.

Hope this Helps.
Yes it does. Thanks.

Wow, for a regular street machine, the smallest headers will do just fine. Thanks for your efforts.
I'd take the 1.75" headers and cats off your hands. Can you PM me a price?
Thanks,
Tom

The guys at Hypertech have also noticed that LT's didn't affect their tuning numbers. All the gains and no added tuning needed.

Do these headers have a 2 1/2" collector or 3"?

The results seem to be very consistent with the advertised numbers from ARH.

THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DO THIS FOR US, TED!

Ted, Congrats on a great test. Thanks for going through the trouble. Our thoughts are similar to yours and we feel the 1-7/8" headers are the better all around set up but 2" is the drag racers way to go.

Nick

Thank you Ted, now I can't wait for winter to end to get mine done, I just have to decide which exhaust system I want to get to hook up to the ARH's, definitely something LOUD
