Can Oshawa reprint them or am I just completely screwed. They knew I was a nut about this kind of stuff, they even unwrapped the whole car so all of the plastic is gone with all of the shipping bar codes too. UGH!!!!! It makes me want to

Thanks, but his account appears to be suspended. I left Becky D a message so I hope to hear from her today.

I saved the build sheet with all the other paper work and have it in a binder. My window sticker is in a frame hanging on the wall of my garage (next to my wife's 2010 Buick LaCrosse sticker).

I also have my deposit paperwork saved and all correspondence from the dealership.

Because I ordered on October 13, 2008, I have the "welcome" letter with concept print hanging on the wall of my office.

I know...I'm a little nuts but...I did it.

I would too if dealer hadn't effed me on the build sheets. I'm just as nuts as you, and having sold them in the past I've dealt with crazies like us before. It's just infuriating that they were this careless after being told not to let anyone into or even near my car.

IMHO, the build sheet isn't important unless you have a very limited production vehicle AND if you don't intend on driving it AT ALL and then hopefully it appreciates over the course of 40-50 years.

It's really not worth anything until then, and that's predicated on the fact that you don't sell, total, alter, or wear out the car before then

I remember when build sheets were hidden in the car somewhere.

Yep. My T/A had it's front clip and fender replaced and that's where they hid it. First owner saved it, folded it up, and hid it in the owners manual. Imagine my surprise when I opened up the portfolio in the glove box and found that.

I had my dealer save EVERYTHING for me- Several build sheets plus the plastic seat covers, window stickers, etc. Everything is stored away in pristine condition- Why not ?

I got no build sheets with my Z... Sort of pissed about that. Wanted to do a megaframe with all that stuff. I do have the window sticker, small consolation. I was going to see if I could send the build sheet to Oshawa to have some of the guys sign it and send it back. Thought that would be cool.
