Question in regards to 1LE for real world

I am in the final stages (again) of going for 2015 with the 1LE. The question I have is if the ride is truly that much rougher than the regular SS. This car will be driven a good bit. I enjoy the thought of the bettered handling and such, but wonder if this thing will rattle my entire body into submission.

I DD my 1LE and have heard comments from passengers that it doesnt ride bad. youll be driving a sports car so you should expect the stiff ride. its not bone jarring, but it is stiff. only you can really answer your own question though, its personal preference.

I bought mine and heard that it was a rough ride, but I don't think it's that bad. I test drove a ss before I got my 1LE and didn't notice a big difference.

Almost 38K miles on ours as my daily driver and we have taken it on trips as well. As mentioned, it is a stiffer ride than a less performance oriented vehicle, but it has not been a problem at all.

Definitely an amazing car to drive around every day....some of the big bumps that I think would be hard on any car may be a little more jarring than usual....but I think the fun you have the 99% of the time you're not hitting potholes is well worth it!!!

Take one for a test ride, on some less than perfect roads... that should ease your mind. I DD mine, on days of no snow and ice of course. I think it rides fine on the crappy Denver area roads.

Well, the good news is I moved from PA to VA. Roads down here are A LOT better than PA. I had a stiff suspension on the GTO, so I am used to a less than Cadillac ride. Unfortunately, with the limited availability, I am basically buying blind.

My Sister Inlaw lives in Springfield (Orange Hunt)... nice area, decent roads.

I dont take.my camaro to the cottage anymore since I've upgraded to the 1LE (FE6) suspension, its too bumpy. On anything other then good roads its not forgiving and smooth like the FE3 suspension is. IF you don't track your car I don't recommend it. There is a reason why its a performance option and doesn't come out of the box.

I have lowered my 1LE and have no complains about ride. It is a little tighter and stiffer then the normal SS but I can still go on long long drives (5 to 10hr cruise) and still be very comfortable.

Buy the 1LE and you won't regret it. Seriously. have you ever seen someone who owns a 1LE on this forum that doesn't absolutely love their car? I haven't seen one person say they regret buying their 1LE. I do see quite a few folks with regular SS Camaros saying that they wish they waited for a 1LE. Just my opinion, For what it's worth.

I've never heard anyone who owns a 1LE complain about the ride.
