i read on a previous thread, that DRLs would be the fog lights(on RS models), along with the Halos. so they would be on at the same time as DRLs...
i will try to find post... edit: Quote:

Not so sure about that. You can search here for the official post from GM about it. They never said the halos are part of the DRL's on an RS.

I have HIDS on my current car and I like it alot for a couple of reasons. First they light up the road much better than regular lights. The angle is wider and the range is better (IE, I can see things further down the road).
Next, the blue-white color looks great. Looking at the lights directly they do not seem that bright. I have seen some other cars who seem to have replaced their regular HID's for some blindingly-bright HID - just STUPID in my opinion - which definately cause more glare when you're facing them on the road. But I'd say most HID's do a better job than regular lights. |

THe halos by themselves are not enough to lite up the road, they just look bad ass. BUT with the headlights its easlily 10 times better than normal headlights

So, the fog lights are DRL's? Thats crazy, I know a kid in Mass. that got a ticket, in the DAYTIME for having his fog lights on when it wasnt foggy out. He was driving a 4th gen T/A.
I told him he should have told the cop they arnt fog lights, they are driving lights. lol. |
