In all honesty you should shop around for a good used car, they are asking what, 20k on ebay for that mess and you figure another 15k AT LEAST to get it back into shape. You could be easily lookin at 35k and then you might as well just buy a used 2SS for that.

I think your looking at 5k-7k just for parts. Airbags alone are about 2k.

Too much for being salvaged. Take that $20,000 and put it toward a new one.

This car will never feel the same as new, no matter how nice it turns out.
Back in your mind you know it has been salvaged. It is also a headache trying to sell it. Stay away as far as possible. This is a good car for parts, nothing more. IMHO |

Usually a totaled/salvage car by the insurance co means over 50% damage. You can find a used car for what you will pay to buy and fix. Mileage doesn't matter compared to this but it is your $$$, let us know how this works out.

The car is totaled. I counted all curtain airbags deployed and the steering wheel airbag deployed. Those are $2,500 EACH to replace. That puts you at $10,000 in airbag replacement alone. The headliner is shot as well. The creases in it are from the curtain airbag deployment but these fellas were nice enough to cut them away so you don't see them deployed. They were also nice enough to remove the deployed bag from the steering wheel as well.
The entire left side of the car is damaged along with the hood. No telling what the frame is like as others pointed out. Run, don't walk, from this car. It's only value is in parts. |

You should be ready to pay cash for it. I think it would be very difficult to find anyone that would finance a vehicle with a salvaged title.

I think insurance companies should be required to part out all vehicles it deems "totaled" or destroy them. They should not be allowed to turn around and sell everything together as an operational "lot" car.

Just the airbag deployment includes a pretty long list of repair parts.. Including the bags themselves, seatbelts, headliner, interior trim, SDM, etc, etc.. About 4-5k just to fix that! not counting any of the body damage, suspension, etc.. Def. not worth it at that price, in my opinion

If you look at it it needs all this parts.
2 fenders the passenger side is not siting wright with the bumper. new hood. 3 airbags new bumper headlight grill lower grill DRL GFX in the front GFX side rocker on the drivers side core support body work on the door and more. lots of paint to all the parts and last if the frame has to be fixed and it will need some work you and i know it, look at the hood it started to bend. so to make this like a new car your looking at $17,500 to 22K add that to the price and you can buy a new 2013 or 2014 any way you want, this car is only worth $7500 max. |

I may be wrong but if the airbags have deployed doesn't that cause something in the computer on the car to lock up and make it necessary to be replaced also?
And my .02 on this car, find another. Unless you can get a smokin deal on it and can use the parts on this one to upgrade another lower model you own on the cheap, I wouldn't spend a dime on it.

NO ONE can repair this car at home and make it roll right. You HAVE to have a frame puller to get the core support EXACTLY where it needs to be. I wouldnt pay a dime over $7500 and even then its kind of high. It being a salvaged title, the best thing is for them to part it out otherwise its junk. Only thing worth it is engine, tranny and rear axle. Trash the rest.
