1/8th mile Slips & Vid

So i haven't logged anything since my "0-60mph time", so i figured I would add some nice content to the sub-forum. Not that i don't drool when i see some of the times you guys are running! If i could live at the track I sure as hell would. I forgot to write down what car I raced on the slip like I usually do. The 300C was the 8.0X slip with a .3 differential, thats the only one I remember. Enjoy!

That first video looked sketchy as hell with cars being that close to the track, lol! That would take some getting use to!!! Nice times! What are your mods?

thank you! Yeah that track is a bit sketchy all around, but with San Antonio Raceway being closed due to foreclosure, i have no where else to run. Mods are IHE with a 4C circle D converter and NT05R tires. I don't really load up the rpms at the lights, I've found it likes to be flashed off the line, I'm sure if i went with a better tire i could load her up and not spin all over the place. That 1/4 mile time you have isn't so shabby either.

Thx man! That sucks about your track closing, hopefully someone will buy it & it wont stay closed. Our 1/8 mile track isn't always prepped the best but hey its somewhere to race. In fact I'll be heading there Sat since the the qtr track will be closed.
If you're not happy with the Nittos try MT ETs next time. I have no complaints! Not sure how many miles Ive put on them but I've had them about 3months. I DD my car, have several passes at the track & I have plenty rubber left. I had the Nitto 555Rs years ago on my mustangs & they definitely wore faster. The main thing I like about these is I barely heat them up & they still work good. I know I'm not using these tires to their full potential. What size rim are you on?

Very nice all around!! I also have done the Nitto/MT ET's and agree with BEASSTING. I've learned to roll into the launch hard without stabbing it and that works best so far. Keep up the good work!

Very nice. My best SI on NT05Rs was 1.59, but they are less forgiving than the MTs on a marginal track.

Thanks! I wasn't expecting the greatest 60' times because the track prep is sub-par at best. I also didn't let much air out of my tires because they have no compressed air station at the facility and I had a bit of a drive to a gas station. My quickest 1/4 mile pass was a 12.30@110mph, 1.69-60'. Driver mod should yield some better results also :-)
