At what status do you get a TPW? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I've searched around for the answer but couldn't find it so far. I ordered on May 8th, moved to 2000 on May 26th, and then to 3000 on May 28th. I called the GM customer service line this morning and they said I had a TPW of June 29th. I know these haven't been reliable as of late, I'm still extremely excited anyways, but does this mean I have moved from 3000 or am I still there? The GM rep had no idea about status codes or anything when I asked her. Thanks in advance for helping.

Just ask your salesperson to go on "Work Bench" and search for an order history. All your info will be there. I ordered on 4/24/09 and have been at 3000 since mid-May.

You have to move to Canada to get a TPW.

GM has said they don't want to give TPW's anymore because of people overreacting when their car isn't built on the TARGETED production week.

But I just got a TPW this morning from them..........June 29th. All she said is it could change. I just want to know if that means my status has changed from 3000 to something else.

Looks like the GM CS line actually has some info my dealer doesnt have. Just called my dealer and they didnt give me a TPW and told me I was still at 3000. They also told me it could change this week and to call them back on Friday. Maybe GM is stepping up their customer service now. I would think we would be the same chrisinlittlerock, we both made 2000 and 3000 on the same day. The GM lady told me it could be sooner because of the production ramp up.

My dealer has said that they have not been receiving TPWs for the Camaro. A TPW of a month after you went to 3000 seems like kind of a long time. My dealer said that on their cars that they have already received they were built within about 10 business days of going to event code 3000.

Where did you order from? I am in Fayetteville and ordered back in October. My sales rep has no clue about event codes, but I was able to find out I was at 3000 from one of the members on here offering to look at them last Friday for that day only.

Many have waited much longer than a month after 3000...
