Automatic headlight issue

Greetings,

I have a 2010 SS, I bought it used and discovered that the auto headlights don't work, I have to manually turn them on.

Also, I cannot dim my instrument cluster lights.

Any explanation to this problem? Any direction to take to rectify the issues?

Thanks,
Mack

Hey there,
Not sure on the headlights, but when you flip them to auto, it is spring loaded so it should snap back. But when you do that, does it show in the middle of the gauges "auto light turned off" or "on"?

Then for the dimming, theres that little scroll wheel next to the light switch. You have to hold it down to dim, and up to brighten.

Hope that helps!

It says Auto headlights on with the day time running lights only on. And then when I turn them fully off, it says off and the dtr lights are off.

The dimming switch does not work for the dash lights when the lights are on manual.
