Question 2010 - 2014 RS Headlights

Is it known exactly what color temperature stock RS projector headlights are?
(4300K, 6000K etc?)

I had a 2010 and a 2013 Camaro a few years back, both with the same set of RS headlights. The lights were beautiful, bright, and a very pleasing color. No blue tint at all.

Right now, I'm upgrading another vehicle entirely with an HID projector retrofit, and the color temperature pictures they give you to choose from are kind of BS. I'd rather use my own eyes and match whatever my old Camaros had.

My stock 2015 RS were 4300k which are yellow white. 5000k is white no blue tint and 6000k has blue tint.

I've seen a lot of different images like that, they're all just made in photoshop based on what someone tells them they should tint that frame too. They're not "real" representations of anything. According to that image, my 2010 RS lights would have been 5000k, not 4300k. Other such images show the light start to have a blue tint right at 5000k. Yet I use mtb led headlights that are rated at 6000k and have no blue tint at all. I think half of these numbers are probably just made up on the spot in the factory in hong kong and they just ship em out. But Camaro OEM lights were probably not super low end. So if I can match that light, it should look good.

the 2010-2015 RS has 4300k, the newer models likely have the same.

here are the OEM bulbs before ACDelco buys and raises their prices. I don't think GM or any other manufacturer sells stock HIDs at 5000k or higher

Thats my oem bulb they are 4300k and I see a slight yellow cast in them so I installed 6000k which to my eyes are bright white.
