Oracle mail slot scanners - any recent experiences?

I see that Oracle representatives have posted several newer threads here. Has anyone recently ordered and installed one of their mail slot scanners? The earlier thread reviews seemed to note issues with glue blobs at the “v” bend, poor durability, etc. I like the concept of the scanner, and would appreciate any feedback the forum can provide to assist me in making a purchase decision. Thanks, all.

I purchased the color changing one awhile back and it crapped out on me within a few weeks once it got wet. They sent me another one under the 1 year warranty. It has been sitting on my shelf in the garage for 1.5 years now and I have yet to install it. All I know is that it is not a reliable product and there have been many complaints. Nothing has changed. Save your $$

It isn't their mail slot scanner, but I have their plasma halos and fog lights, and all of them are burning out and almost embarrassing to still have on my car. But once its installed and modded, the only real choice is to get another one to replace the first.

And don't even mention the projector lights..
