Does anyone know how to remove the lower front grill?

Not yet, but thats where I am thinking of putting my front license plate if I get forced to put it on. I wonder how it will go over if it's in back of that lower grill?

I too am looking for instructions on removing the front lower grill. I had my machinist make a prototype plate bracket but it has to be mounted behind the grill on the bumper frame.

You have to remove the whole bumper cover. The grill is not just a grill,
it is also incorporated into the crush panel and gives the rigidity to the whole front cover.

I took the lower grille out of my bumper today, to see what it looked like, and it didn't look very good.
It is seperate and by itself, but opens too much up for viewing that wasnt intended.
Doesnt look too bad in the pictures, but believe me, it looks better with the grille.

You need to post better pics of that bow tie, looks sweet.

Did you do something to the SS on the front grill?

Thanks, here is my thread:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40242

I did change the SS in front, painted the chromed trim black. Made it pop a lot more, you can actually read SS from a distance, instead of something shining at you...

Still need to do it in back, but am a little worried about painting the car too...
