I need flash drive help please - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have all my music in seperate folders by artist and then subfolders by album. Everytime I choose an album it plays one song and then starts playing random songs. The setting to play random songs is off, so why won't it play the whole album????

I was under the impression the the radio will just start playing alphebetically , I don't really ever plug in usually I just stream from my iphone with bluetooth

I figured it out. I had to make a playlist for every album.

I believe there is an update to fix some of the USB indexing... mine just displays songs alphabetically but it should also show by artist...

You shouldn't have to make a playlist for every album.

Just go to Search -> By Folder -> Select the sub-folder you want, select the first song in the folder and hit the menu button one last time to start playback.

I do this all the time with mine and it plays through all the songs in the selected folder in order until I switch to something else or turn the car off and I don't have a single playlist anywhere on my flash drive.

I too am having problems. 8 GB Worked fine until we added more tracks.
Now the only message we get is

Auxiliary LINE Out.

The chip is lit up in the car and works in my computer.

This system has a lot of room for improvment,i have other systems that index by file and are without a dought much better im not going to bash on this one,it came stock what can you expect it works play with it more.set it to index either artist or albums turn off the random.dont use anything over a 2 g and get a extension for your USB so it can lay flat damm if that thing breaks your f_cked .and dont forget to turn it down once in a while listin to your car.

I am thinking I will have to build off of whats there rather than to rip it out ,give me time i will get tired of it something will give, its not at the top of my list of upgrades
