Issue with Power Steering, Gauges, and Exhaust Valve

There’s been a couple occasions where I got a random message saying to service my power steering, but they always went away immediately. Today I was driving, and the light flashed again. This time, however, the traction control went out, the exhaust valve shut, and the power steering went out. In addition, the analog gauges all died and the digital gauge showed no readings for temp/mileage/TPMS. I was stuck in busy traffic, but all of the issues cleared up as soon as I started moving.

I’m typically a DIY type of person, but I haven’t been able to figure out a clear solution for all of these issues. My car is a 2016, so it doesn’t fall in any of the recalls I could find. Has anyone experienced this issue?

Sounds like an intermittent connection due to wiring harness damage. I'd check the engine bay for any frayed wires, cuts or burn marks on the engine harness. It could also be caused by less the ideal connector seating, hopefully not from a bent connector pin.

I thought there WAS a recall for power steering that affected both 2016 and 2017. My notice is still sitting somewhere, and I occasionally get a mailed reminder.
As I recall, the issue had to do with the sensor in the electric power assist unit. It could go bad and then you would lose steering assist. Not the end of the world (IMHO), so I've been living on the edge. Seems better than letting a dealer replace my steering unit, which is the prescribed fix.

OK, here it is, but only 2017 for Camaro:
