How much are you going to lose on the 2010?

Might be same payment, but it's not like your breaking even. As long as you are good with that then go for it.

Forget about the payments being the same this is what you really need to know. Make sure you figure in everything. Lets just say you lost a years worth of payments which would be in the thousands and only diff is the HUD and the shifter I would say no

Agreed - the aftermarket Hurst has more reduction than the one GM will install and you can easily have it put in or do it yourself. I know people have installed the HUD but I have no idea what the cost of that would be.

You have to be losing a few thousand on the trade from what you paid for the 2010. The payment may be the same, but I'd guess you're financing for another couple more years on the 2011.
If it's worth it to you to take a loss of 3k-5k or more on the 2010, go for it. Mines worth about 6k less on a trade then what I paid 1 1/2 years ago....I wouldn't take the loss by trading.

again, depends on how much you lose. figure a hurst short throw costs around $350 and HUD parts cost $550-600? Are you taking a loss bigger than this? have you gotten an insurance quote to see if its higher? if yes, then i would say stay with the 2010.

MHO would be not to trade it in just for HUD and a hurst shifter. The hurst shifter can be put in for a couple hundred and under an hour. Aftermarket HUD's are available and will take a little work but assuming you've had your car for a year you would be losing a few grand on the trade-in... not worth it.

Oh good lord.. It's basically the same car. HUD & a hurst shifter isn't really a compelling reason in my opinion to trade. What's wrong with your's? So I got a Barton short throw for mine, and imo, it's way better than that factory hurst. Hurst is just a name. As for HUD, it's more of a novelty than anything. I'd stick with your '10.

Add a hurst shifter and keep the 2010.

Depends on how much of a hit your wallet will take. Let us know how much $ you stand to lose first.

IMO.... If you add these same options to your 2010... you will appreciate your current car more than taking on additional years of payments and interest.
