well another one bites the dust

was in the left turn lane yesterday when another driver was turning right from the other street, loses control because she was going way to fast and slams into my front end taking out the fender and front end. so now when i get the car back gonna have to trade on a new one because you know what they say once its been wrecked it is never the same again.

I'm glad you're okay.

If the damage is minor, there's no reason NOT to keep the car, provided the repairs are high-quality. I had to convince myself of this after I tore the side off my truck. It was pristine, and then 2 seconds later, it wasn't! What I learned is that damage is part of life as a daily driver, and it only adds to the overall adventure of owning the car for 100k, 200k etc. The car is your baby...are you really going to abandon it if it can be put back together successfully?

That's horrible. Someone turned around a corner too fast and too wide and drove into my front bumper while I was at a stop sign a few months back. I was really surprised the airbags didn't deploy considering they had to be going 30mph. Did yours?
