Who wants to help me install some headers?
The title says it all! Just picked up a set of OBX LT's (please don't judge) off another member. Looking to install em with some of my more knowledgeable NEC5 friends. Lunch is on me for all who help. So who's in?

Thanks for the offer. Don't know where the install will be happening yet but if Dan offers to have us at his place that'd be great.

I live in Newton (a suburb of Boston), but my garage has barely any room in it and almost no tools. I'd probably need to do the install at someone's house, if anyone's willing. Also I hear airtools are almost a necessity on the install. Otherwise it can be real tough to reach some of the bolts.

Happy to have you and helpers over. I am on my way to Sturgis and won't be back until a week from Friday or so.

You can do it on a Jack stand with the right tools..... Just make sure you replaced the header bolts and buy new GM gaskets. 80% takes place underneath the car.

Given that you have all the tools and a lift, I'd love to take you up on your offer Dan. It probably won't be for a few weeks though as I'm going to have to order the gasket/bolts. Epstein, you wouldn't happen to know the part numbers for those would you?

I've done a few v6 header installs and would love to help. One side will go on realy easy and well the pass side is tight. Depending on the header kit you get some come with all bolts and gaskets needed.
We just need to see what the date endsup being. Dan you rock!!! If by chance I start hogging all the Camaro loving and your feeling left out. Just grab a tool and jump right in. |

Thanks for stepping up to help Charlie, you know more about modding these v6's than most around here. So depending on what works for everyone it looks like we could either do it the weekend of the 13 or the weekend of the 27. I'm gonna look into those gaskets and bolts. I'm also probably going to tune it when we do this, so I'm gonna have to try and find one of those red trifecta cables.
