Wiring the kit is an additional charge and not included in the install cost? Seems a little redundant. Like getting headers installed but being charged extra to hook them up to the cat back.

900 to install, wire and tune is cheap. They are under estimating their time if they intend to do a professional install.

I believe that to be a little bit pricey. When I have my V6 I orded nytrex kit was 1,200$ but on Amazon I got it for 650$ and the tune was 400$, install was done myself except running the cable from trunk to throttle body(100$) in total I spent well under half for a really nice kit. Again this was for my V6 Im guessing the V8 needs a little bit more treatment but 3K is a lot.

To hell with that. If you are going to install nitrous then do it yourself. Start with a cheap $500 dry one nozzle kit and build yourself up from there. You will find satisfaction quickly with how good nitrous works and the best part is you learn about how nitrous works and how to install it as you go. With all the gauges, wiring, solenoids and shit like that you are always tweeking and checking and adjusting. You would hate to spend that kind of dough to have a pristine setup with all the bell, whistles, gauges lights and pretty shit and accidentally fry a solenoid and have to go back to the install guys to spend 500 bucks to diagnose and repair it when for 59.95 you could have just replaced the solenoid because you knew what to look for. And when it comes to tuning there are alot of different opinions on here. If I listened to 3/4 of what people said when I first started my journey with nitrous I would be on my third or fourth engine block. But because I learned while I installed I didn't **** anything up. Tune yourself with things like LNC 2000 and AFR guages. Simple.
P.S. I dont know half of what there is to know about nitrous but the first time I whipped a ZL1 with a cold air intake, hypertech tune, full 3" exhaust with no cats, and a 100 dry shot I knew I was on to something good. Learn, learn , learn.
