Griot's Garage Synthetic Clay
Has any one tried the Brilliant Finish Synthetic Clay.

I wouldn't use car shampoo as a lubricant with this, or any synthetic clay material. It doesn't provide enough lubrication, and you will cause scratching/swirling in your clear coat. Clay lube only.
Best values for clay lubricant are Ultima Waterless Wash Plus Concentrate, and Optimum ONR. Griots claims this is good for 20 uses. The SM Arnold Speedy Prep towel is good for 80-100 uses, so is a much better value.

I was interested in this for
my daily driver Hhr Panel. Paint isn't horrible, needs tree sap and such removed....

Someone I work with praises plumbers putty over clay.
He's a Hemi truck guy though.
