Aeroforce Interceptor

Hello everyone,

I am considering adding the SLP steering mount gauge holder and an Aeroforce Interceptor gauge.

I did search, but this might still be a stupid question, but will this gauge read boost from the OBD II port with my E-Force supercharger, or do i have to buy a boost/vacuum sensor kit?

I am looking to read boost, and then later on add a wideband kit to this for tuning.

Add a ZR1 map sensor and have your tune adjusted and you can read boost through the OBDII port with the interceptor. You don't need their kit if you do that.

ZR1 map sensor p/n: 12592525
Tune info (for HPTuners): Engine Diagnostics -> Airflow
enter:
linear 312.50
offset -11.25

The E-Force already comes with a 3-Bar Map sensor, so is there really a need to change the map sensor?

the eforce comes with a 3 bar tmap sensor. you can calculate boost on your own but I dunno if it will work with the interceptor. I don't see why a zr1 map sensor would and the eforce one wouldn't?

I have no experience with the eforce or their sensor but it won't hurt to try. If it doesn't work, drop $40 and get the ZR1 sensor.

Do you know of a gauge that would pull boost from the OBD port, and also have the option of adding a wide band allowing two readings on 1 gauge?

PLX devices
Interceptors in pillar pod. PLX in steering column pod. I am not using the PLX for boost - I am using it for fuel pressure and will be using it for oil pressure too. Interceptors are used for everything else. Eboost2 is solely a boost controller for me.

ETA: The DM-100 will read KPA. I don't think it will convert it to PSI like the interceptor will.

Quite a few gauges you have there. How do you like that SLP column gauge? Does it block the other gauges? For whatever reason I still dont like the pillar gauges, so i figured the column gauge is the next closest clean install.

I also figured the Interceptor will keep the install as clean as possible by reading boost from the OBD, and getting power from that port as well.

The PLX device gauges look nice as well.

The SLP pod doesn't block anything. I am seriously thinking of installing HUD, getting rid of all gauges (except the eboost2) and getting a dashlogic. You might look into the dashlogic also. It will display via HUD, radio, or DIC.

But I'm lazy and probably won't. My alky control lights would have to find a new home and they work extremely well catching my attention where they are.

The Dashlogic could be a good option.

I dont have HUD or mylink, so it looks like it would only be through my DIC. My concern at first was i like to have my speed up in the center, but it looks like i can have 4 parameters up at a time, so if speed is an option it could work.
